MUST-DO & MUST-SEEACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS
Cape Town abounds with tourist attractions and activities and our guests often struggle to fit them all in.
Here are a few of our favourite activities to enjoy during your stay in Cape Town.
TABLE MOUNTAIN
The iconic Table Mountain, recently named one of the 7 New Wonders of Nature - can be enjoyed in a multitude of ways. View it from a distance in all its majestic glory by taking a stroll on our very own Sunset Beach, or any of the other beaches along the Blouberg coastline, hike one of the many trails that will lead you to the top, or take the Cable Car. Refreshments and light meals are available at the top from the Table Mountain Café.

ROBBEN ISLAND
Every year thousands of visitors flock to Robben Island off the Cape Town coast to see where Nelson Mandela was held prisoner. Guided tours are available on most days, and access to the island is via a ferry that leaves from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront.
KIRSTENBOSCH BOTANICAL GARDENS
Touted as the most beautiful garden in Africa, this 36 hectare garden is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is part of a nature reserve. Rolling lawns are ideal for picnics, and there are various restaurants and shops. In summer, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens hosts various open air concerts, from instrumental to rock concerts, where guests can bring along picnic baskets and enjoy music under the stars.

V&A WATERFRONT
The V&A Waterfront is a not-to-be-missed day out. This shopping and entertainment complex is next to Cape Town Harbour, and offers countless restaurants and bars, markets, cinemas, retail outlets, art galleries, jewellers, and an aquarium to name a few. Many of the upmarket eateries spill onto the sidewalks that overlook the water, and you can sip on cocktails while you watch the passing parade, or hop onto one of the boats and take a guided tour of Robben Island.
